Acer Aspire One
recently buy this netbook, the white one.. now i’m trying either to install Windows XP on it or installing driver for my Huawei E220 in Linux Linpus
Ok.. akhirnya setelah berkutat dengan berbagai cara untuk menginstall windows xp di Aspire One ini, gue udah cobain pake DVD external tapi hasilnya tetep ga bisa.. akhirnya gue berhasil install dengan menggunakan USB Drive.. kalau mau tahu caranya, baca aja petunjuk berikut.. gue dapet informasinya dari blognya Ramaditya.. sang blogger tunanetra.. CARA MENGINSTALL WINDOWS XP PADA ACER ASPIRE ONE 8 GB
Yang Harus Disiapkan:
1. Sebuah komputer yang dilengkapi optical drive (CD atau DVD) dan port USB yang dapat bekerja dengan baik.
2. Sebuah USB flash disk berkapasitas 1 atau 2 GB.
3. CD instalasi Windows XP.
4. Aplikasi pembuat modul instalasi (USB_PREP8 dan PEtoUSB) yang dapat diunduh cuma-cuma melalui link http://www.sendspace.com/file/7n781n
5. Do’a dan keberanian!
Langkah-langkah Pembuatan:
1. Tancapkan USB flash disk ke salah satu port USB. Ingat-ingat posisi drive-nya. Apakah F:, G:, H:, dan sebagainya.
2. Saat Anda berada di posisi normal (desktop), masukkan CD instalasi Windows XP ke optical drive. Jika komputer menjalankan proses instalasi secara otomatis, batalkan saja dan tutup semua aplikasi yang tengah berjalan.
3. Unduh dan ekstrak aplikasi yang penulis berikan. Saran penulis, ekstrak seluruh isinya ke sebuah folder, semisal C:\USB.
4. Selanjutnya, buka folder di mana Anda mengekstrak aplikasi modul pembuat instalasi, kali ini kita ambil contoh C:\USB.
5. Jalankan file bernama “usb_prep8.bat” maka di layar monitor akan tampak jendela Command Prompt berisi macam-macam perintah. Jika sudah muncul tulisan “Press any key to continue,” tekan sembarang tombol untuk konfirmasi.
6. Di layar akan muncul jendela PEtoUSB yang meminta Anda memformat USB flash disk Anda. Tak perlu mengubah setting apa pun, langsung klik Start untuk mulai proses format. Jawab konfirmasi sesuai kebutuhan Anda.
7. Jika sudah selesai, tutup jendela PEtoUSB (jangan menutup jendela Command Prompt yang tadi terbuka ketika Anda menjalankan usb_prep8.bat), maka di layar akan muncul opsi-opsi dari 0 hingga 5.
8. Gunakan opsi 1 untuk memilih sumber file instalasi yang nantinya akan disalin ke flash disk. Disini, tentukan di drive mana Anda menyimpan instalasi Windows XP. Pilih saja optical drive di mana sudah ada CD Windows XP di dalamnya, atau pilih folder pilihan Anda jika Anda telah menyalin file instalasi Windows XP ke folder tertentu.
9. Pilih opsi 3 untuk menentukan di mana Anda mencolok flash disk. Kalau flash disk Anda berada di drive F:, maka ketik F dan tekan ENTER. Jika drive G: maka ketik G dan tekan ENTER, begitu seterusnya berlaku untuk drive lain.
10. Selanjutnya pilih opsi 4 untuk mulai proses pembuatan modul instalasi yang nantinya akan disalin ke flash disk secara otomatis. Jawab apa pun konfirmasi yang muncul dengan Y atau YES atau OK atau bentuk persetujuan lain.
Selesai! Kini flash disk Anda telah siap digunakan untuk instalasi Windows XP! Silahkan melakukan setting pada BIOS subnotebook Anda, dan pilih Removeable Disk (atau apa pun nama lainnya) sebagai media pertama yang dijalankan saat booting.
Mengingat teknik instalasi semacam ini juga tersedia di internet, Anda juga bisa mencarinya via mesin cari. Selamat mencoba…!

Acer has presented the Aspire one, calling it an all-new communication device designed to make online activities fast, simple and cool.
The Aspire one competes directly with Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) and small notebooks such as the HP Mini-note and the Asus Eee PC.
With a specifically optimized software interface to support connectivity needs, the Aspire one measure just 9.8-inches x 6.7-inches x 1.14-inches and weighs a little more than two pounds (0.9 Kg) with a battery life of up to six hours.
The Aspire one comes standard with 802.11b/g WiFi built-in and in the future may be configure with built-in 3G wireless technology.
It offers a simple Linux interface with pre-installed software separated by functions and presented in four distinct areas on the screen – Connect, Works, Fun and Files.
The Aspire one has an 8.9-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Integrated in the top of the screen is an Acer CrystalEye webcam for live video streaming, video chats and conferences.
Initially available in blue and white, the range of colors available for the Aspire one will be expanded later this year with two new soft tones: brown and pink.
The Aspire one is equipped with Intel Atom processor, Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP Home, and comes with 512MB or 1 GB of RAM memory installed.

watch it in E-Plaza.. though i expect to watch in Jakarta.. Do you know you can watch it freely using BCA Credit Card? Actually in february i’ve already told my friend about this (free watch) just for fun without knowing that it really happened. Because i think BCA had Batman as branded of their credit card.. so i think it will be very pathetic if they dont give theit customer free watch.. wew.. finally it really happened.. hehehe..
This movie is really amazing… Christopher Nolan really make The Batman is real.. two thumbs up..

Synopsis
Kyoichi Suzuki is an average college student in his junior year. Although he’s not in one of the top universities, he’s satisfied with his college life studying architecture. This is how Kyoichi first meets Surumi Kataoka. After they meet, Surumi continues living in Kyoichi’s room.
She points to an apartment visible from Kyoichi’s room, and says that the guy living there dumped her for another girl. Surumi says that she’s waiting to check out the girl she was dumped for. Kyoichi doesn’t know if he ought to believe her or not.
All Kyoichi knows is that while Surumi is such a charming girl, the expression on her face is sad at times.
Kyoichi is not that disappointed about sharing his room with a cute girl. He starts to think that this lifestyle may go on forever, until one day, Surumi suddenly disappears-just like the day she suddenly appeared. All she leaves for Kyoichi are unanswered questions.

Synopsis
Koibumi is a very well-acted series that stars Watabe Atsuro, Mizuno Miki, and Wakui Emi. The story is based on the 1984 Naoki Award-winning short story “Koibumi” by Mikihiko Renjo that addressed the subtleties of male and female relationships. It was made into a film the following year. The story was adapted for the screen by renowned scriptwriter Okada Yoshikazu.
Shouichi (Watabe Atsuro) is an art teacher with a very eccentric style. He basically has the personality of a young boy who does things that he feels are right, and doesn’t really think too much about the consequences of his actions. Shoichi’s wife, Kyouko (Mizuno Miki), is a no-nonsense mother figure that always has to clean up after Shoichi’s mistakes. Their two personalities strike a balance and they enjoy a happy life together with their son, Suguru, who has grown up to be more responsible to make up for his father’s childishness.
One day, his former lover Etsuko (Wakui Emi) shows up at his school, and tells him that she is dying from a terminal illness and has only six months to live. Shouichi decides to be with her until her death, so he quits his job, leaves his family, and finds a new job so he can spend more time with Etsuko at the hospital. Kyouko wakes up to find her husband gone with no explanation, and goes out in search of him…
